  I am an Instructional Designer & IT Trainer for the University of Oxford. I'm responsible for creating and maintaining training material as well as designing training in bespoke environments. I'm also the lead for the Digital Adoption Platform Whatfix and have successfully embedded it into the new VLE - Canvas. Whatfix is now being used by Academics across the University to show them how to perform tasks in Canvas. I've successfully implemented an Enterprise Licence for Whatfix so that it can expand across five different projects at the University. As of June 2020, I am now an Accredited Whatfix Instructional Designer. I've previously worked for Thames Valley Police as a Trainer. I provided law, legislation and process introduction to new starters in the Contact Management Department, maintaining existing packages, liaising with support departments to provide subject matter expert training to new staff as well. My performance within the team was recognised and appreciated across the whole department and in 2017 received a Head of Department commendation for the efforts of the training team in it's busiest year to date I am highly motivated and ambitious, supported by my enthusiasm to always deliver my best and learn new things. I've also spent time as a Supervisor in one of the Control Rooms, developing and supporting operators. I'm also a Special Sergeant for Thames Valley Police.
